Referendum in Svedala Municipality
The state’s requirements regarding municipal fire & rescue services are increasing. Changes must be made to fire & rescue services to meet these demands. The fire & rescue service in Svedala municipality currently operates independently. The alternative to this is to enter into an organisational partnership with other municipalities.
The municipality is investigating how the fire & rescue service should best be organised to meet future demands and to ensure the safety of our citizens. Regardless of the organisational form that is chosen, the fire station and current part-time staffing in Svedala will remain.
